My name is Louis, I'm a composer and producer from the UK, and I create video game soundtracks and experimental electronic music.
I have a particular interest in eerie music and horror aesthetics, and using these to explore mental health topics. I created a concept album about loneliness and anxiety, and have also explored the audio of liminal spaces.
I also create music about queerness, exploring how music can be used to express queerness as well as my frustration towards the treatment of queer people.
Outside of these areas of interest, I enjoy creating music for video games more generally, and you'll find a few different styles in my portfolio for several types of games.
My music is electronic, and I love experimenting with sound design and audio production within my composition process. The main program I use for music creation is Logic Pro, but I am currently using Ableton to develop some live electronic performance projects.
I do a small amount of game development myself, mostly with Unity and tiny games engines such as bitsy and Twine, and am continuing to develop my ability in this area. I also have some experience creating interactive and generative music with TouchDesigner, Processing and PureData.
